Moving with a Pet
Pick up a Change-of-Address Kit from the Post Office. Most Post Offices require at least 3 weeks for the address change to process. Make a list of people you are going to inform of your new address:
- Make an appointment & have your pet examined by your veterinarian and collect all pet records
- Ask your vet for a reference for a practitioner here in Boston.
- Air travel should be booked four weeks ahead of departure for domestic moves and six to eight weeks prior to international flights
